A note from me!

I have been on hold from writing on this blog for the past several months, as I promised when I started it that I would only write as inspired by the Holy Spirit. I have kept to that as said. These last few months has been a "remaking" of my relationship with God in the areas of sensitivity, passion, prayer, thanksgiving, and worship.
I have never "settled in" to the comfort adadge that all things are all they can be and complete in their present form. I believe by Scripture that I, (as are you who believe), am being conformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ in all areas of His life. Thought, Word, and deeds (actions) that would bring forth the promise that I (we) will "do those things that He did and do them also", so as to "Glorify our (His) Father in Heaven." This way we will have a "witness" in preaching as He proves the Truth of His Word by "sign's and wonders following."
I believe that His return is imminent........even at the door.
My heart breaks for the unsaved and the believing ignorant of these matters.
Do not be fooled......there are believers that have taken the weak doctrines of man, (instead of the Word of God), and ran without doubt in the "powerless ways", denying the promises of God and our Great Savior Jesus Christ. These are the "prime" harvest that will make up the "falling away." Sad but true.
If the Truth's of Scripture has no place in your heart "because you have never seen them or experienced them", or because "they never happened in our church", then you will fulfill the Words of Christ to the father of a demoniac son: In red:
Mark 9:17-24
17 And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
18 And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
19 He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
20 And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
21 And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
22 And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
And your next cry should be:
24 And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
If this is what happening at your place of worship then approach them with this Truth or get out. Go somewhere where that does honor the Word of God and apply His promises. The time quickly approaches when these "promises" will not be optional.
Pray about this, fast for a heart to be worthy of making God's promises a reality, then live by faith and be a faithful witness to a lost and dying world.
God bless and empower for His glory sake.

Thoughts on the "times that are upon us." Lord what shall we do?

Colossian's 3:1-3
1. Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.…

I Timothy 6:6
6. But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. 7. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.

1 Timothy 6:17
17. Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. 18. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19. storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed
.
Sometimes the ease of life or the possession of wealth leads us astray from the Truth of who is the provider of these blessings. Time will prove our motives of how we treat these "distractions" and how much we really rely on them vs God.

I can promise everyone reading this that the time is coming when decisions will be made concerning material possessions that will divide the "sheep from the goats". Faith in Christ will be the overcoming factor of the sheep and despair will identify the goats.

Some prepare for difficult times with material things and forget to add "walking by faith" to their preparedness. Don't make the same mistake. Remember: "walking by faith" is achieved by continued application "NOW" and affirmed "in that time of testing." If you don't have that now then you will "fall away" later.
The reason we "have all these precious promises" giving us by Christ to every believer, because He knew that we would need them not only now but in these difficult times we are facing ahead.

Right now I recommend:
Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Learn how to pray and have faith for answers.
Start to fast to empower your prayers.
Learn how to "worship". Not just lip service but a broken heart before God.
Give thanks for all you have and all you will be given.
Teach your children these applications.
Allow the Holy Spirit to "conform you to the image and likeness of Christ.
Learn how to "see our Father in heaven doing His work and do it also."
Learn how to "hear the voice of our Father in heaven and speak the same.
Be open to "dreams and visions."
Ask and seek for the promised gifts that will bless you and your plus others.

By accomplishing these above things (plus others that God will lay on your heart) you will secure for yourself and others hope "till He calls all His to meet with Him in the sky."
God bless and keep till that day.
Love in Christ
