Another unprecedented turn of events yesterday that we have just come to recognize as miracles.

A little background: When the tumor was taken from Elise's head (both times)it left a cavern where it used to be for the brain to have to "settle" back into. This last time it was approx 55mm across from the artery that feeds the brain to the top of the scull, pushing the brain lobes apart and causing loss of recognition of vertical alignment. This caused her to lean right at the hips quite a bit and also lean forward. The brain just couldn't accurately assess what was straight up and down and side to side. This made walking difficult and sitting straight almost impossible. With that in mind the unnatural strain on the bones and muscle systems to be in these positions caused a lot of pain. In fact the loss of balance was what caused us to realize something was wrong and found the first tumor. Most of her PT was to get her brain to "come back" to center so she could straighten up vertical and walk without aid personal or mechanical. At one point that she was "crooked" and adjust to the new standard. So as the brain lobes "fell" into place to fill the cavity the it had to create new signals to the muscles to make the adjustments that was needed for her to correct her posture. This sounds simple but it had to be done by her brain every time she traversed each new walking platform, eg; flat floors, inclines, uneven floors, lawn, uneven lawn, any change of degree on which she stood. After her balance came back for each of those efforts the next was the "non solid" adjustments such as the pool where your feet couldn't "hold" you in position. The first time she tried floating on a couple of noodles she had no control over balancing on them, her legs floating up and tipping her over. Strength was lacking in her core along with her arms, back, legs ect. which would help alleviate some of the issue especially the one of if she tipped over getting back up and out of a dangerous situation. So the first time of getting in the pool, (that thing she loves to do the most), we ended up just scooting along the side with me helping her stay safe. Yesterday we went in the pool using innertube type floats that she could get inside so she could float around more on her own. I stilled stayed with her and she had the same problem of her legs floating up. After about an hour in the water she said to me "do you notice that my legs aren't floating up?" I said "can you lift them and make them go down again and stay?" So she tried it and could. This was another miracle for us "balance in the water." To say the least she was blessed, thankful, and excited. Not only that but she walked up the pool steps (me behind her of course for safety), and stepped over the float out of it keeping her balance onto the pool deck. What a great, immediate change. We thanked God for such a profound improvement. God is manifesting His glory in our family and amongst our friends even to the medical community involved. I will speak the praises of our God and give Him all the glory. He has divinely intervened in our lives and proven Himself of His majesty and power over all peoples and creation. We are thankful to have "met" Him in person and have experienced His Unconditional Love in every way imaginable and unimaginable! His mercy's endure forever. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you!" If you could only perceive the Love that God has for all of you, what the will of His good pleasure that He works toward you is, your faith would come alive and experience the "Living Savior, Christ our Lord". God bless and keep opening your eyes of your understanding to the "Goodness of God."
