Love = Giving
There is no genuine Love that is a secret. It is impossible
for Unconditional Love to be so by the very nature of its expression.
Unconditional Love is proven in depth of value by the gift it brings. Gifts
that are both carnal and spiritual. The gift spawned by Unconditional Love must
be of great value, priceless, worthy to show the Love it was meant to portray.
A gift that “honors” the receiver, and assures them, (proves to them), of the
value you have placed on them.
Remember: Gifts carnal and spiritual?
Our greatest example of Unconditional Love is from our
Father in heaven. “In yet while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” God
sets the bar high by starting the Love exchange with the most valuable gift He
could give: His Son, (the carnal/physical gift), and His salvation (the
spiritual gift). Taken as an example of the expression of Unconditional Love
then what should our “proof gifts” be? Few of us will be called to be “a good
man” who might lay his life down for another, but many of us might be “a good
man” to sacrifice time for prayer, a visit or a call, find some need that is
within reach to “bless” with by the giving thereof, weep with the weeping and
laugh with the joyful, a tender touch, a listening ear, feet that bring the
Gospel of good news, the speaking of hope, better yet the giving of hope by
some tangible means. All these applications incorporate both carnal/physical and
spiritual gifts that the giving thereof might lift the soul and gladden the
heart of those to whom we show Unconditional Love. Who is worthy of that
Unconditional Love? Again, being Christ like everyone. All men.
Life is not full until it is fully expressed in
Unconditional Love.
Live each day in the full expression of Love: “for we know
no not the day or the hour.”
Laugh often: “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.”
Love passionately: God reveals Himself through Love, “for
God is Love.”
God bless and keep.
In Christ
